It's been a busy October for us so far! I have a new assignment at work which is keeping me super busy. My parents came to town and in turn helped us rearrange two rooms - swapped the office and playrooms. It was quite the task, but we love it! The new office space is also my home office space for my work-from-home days. Very cozy. Now we just need a new rug!
Fall is definitely in the air and it's getting dark so much earlier. Kate and I had to wear jackets on our walk tonight. We are still getting some beautiful sunny days though. Seattle usually holds out with sun in September and October and although we have had some rainstorms, it has been really pretty. Not warm, but beautiful.
We took my parents to the Fall Fishermen Festival - an annual deal right by our house. We had clam chowder and Cole got to make his own wooden boat and get his face painted. What a fun afternoon. While my mom was here, she cleaned our sofas, did mending, got stains out of all of the kid's clothes and the list goes on! Thank you for all your help!
