It's hard to believe it's been a month since I blogged. Yikes. I already put these pics on FB, so they are probably old news now. But at least there's more commentary here. Cole asked us every day for a few weeks to play soccer, so we started him in Lil Kickers. He loves it, but I think they wore him out last week. Unfortunately, the only class available was 9am on a Saturday and he's not really a morning guy (like father like son :-). So hopefully in the winter session, we get grab a spot in the 10 or 11am class - sounds good just thinking about it.
We also happen to have swim lessons on Saturdays, so I think we thoroughly wore him out. We are trying to move his lessons to Sundays so the poor kid gets a break. Soccer is for him, swim lessons are for me which is ultimately for him.
In other news (no pictures), Kate turned 1 1/2 on 9/18...wait, what?! Snuck up on me for sure. She has the attitude of a 2 year old! Fire, spunk, and a sense of humor. She laughs a lot and has all but her 2 year molars. She hasn't had her 18 month check up yet, but weighed in at 22lbs last week for her recent round of double ear infections. She was ear infection-free for 2 months so we're not off for tubes yet. Praying she still outgrows it. Kate is making up for her slim stature in height and attitude. Cole said "Here you go, Slim" the other day and that made me laugh. She loves swimming in the bath, trying to ride Cole's razor scooter, and saying new words every day. I try and speak to her in my Spanglish and she can still roll her tongue on Spanish words which makes me happy from her days with her nanny Odeth. Pictures of Kay-Kay as Cole calls her, to come soon.
